Creative people and doers from the district of Munich who want to initiate art and culture projects still have the opportunity to receive financial support from the Kulturfonds Bayern for the year 2023: (non-governmental) project sponsors from the administrative district can still apply up to and including October 1, 2022 Upper Bavaria apply to the government of Upper Bavaria with their ideas for funding. According to a press release from the district, there is the possibility of support for projects in the areas of theatre, non-governmental museums, contemporary art, music cultivation, amateur music, archives, libraries, literature and international exchange of ideas. The condition for support is that the projects are of supra-local or supra-regional importance. Measures with total eligible costs of less than 10,000 euros will therefore not be funded. In addition, only projects whose realization is still pending are eligible.
