District of Munich – Citizens’ forums on wind power in Forstenrieder Park – District of Munich

Expert talks are held in the four municipalities of Pullach, Neuried, Baierbrunn and Schäftlarn.

The plans for the construction of up to six wind turbines in Forstenrieder Park will be put to the test at four citizens’ forums in the affected communities. The Forstenrieder Park consortium, which brings together the municipalities of Pullach, Neuried, Baierbrunn and Schäftlarn, organizes this exchange with experts together with the Ebersberg-Munich energy agency. The wind care manager for Upper Bavaria appointed by the state government, Peter Beermann, is available as a contact person – he is also the managing director of Beermann Energiesysteme GmbH – as well as Alexander Oberthür from the NRT office, to which landscape planners and engineers belong, who, as a nature expert, is responsible for the species protection assessment. Beer will comment on technical and economic issues and Oberthür on environmental impacts.

According to the Energy Agency, the number of participants is limited to 60 people. Those present would be divided into two smaller groups, which could first talk to either Peter Beermann or Alexander Oberthür. Then the groups swap. Two hours are allotted for the events. The date is in Pullach next Monday, October 17, 7 p.m., in the community center; in Neuried on Wednesday, October 19, 7 p.m., in the primary school auditorium; in Baierbrunn on Wednesday, October 26, 7 p.m., in the sports and community center and in Schäftlarn on Thursday, October 27, 7 p.m. in the primary school auditorium. Registration is possible at www.ea-ebe-m.de/buergerforen.
