District of Ebersberg: vaccination again without an appointment – Ebersberg

The district wants to create opportunities again to spontaneously come to vaccinations. Both in the Ebersberg vaccination center and in the Poing branch there will be time slots for vaccinations without an appointment, as the district office announced. The reason is the fact that the teams in the vaccination bus, which stopped in various communities in the district, could no longer cope with the rush with the limited possibilities.

At the vaccination centers in Ebersberg and Poing, vaccination continues with an appointment. But if you prefer to come without an appointment, you can do so within certain periods of time. For example on the next two weekends: On Saturdays and Sundays, 11./12. and 18/19 December, vaccinations are possible without an appointment from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday, December 27 and 28, this is possible in the vaccination center in Ebersberg from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the Poing branch, the offer is valid on these two days from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Except for the New Year, starting in January, vaccinations will be offered without an appointment every weekend from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Ebersberg and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Poing.

After the successful vaccination campaign on Saturday in Egmating, in which the community and the local associations were involved, the district office is hoping for imitators. “The crisis team of the District Office would be happy if such actions were followed in other municipalities. The lower the threshold vaccination offers, the higher the probability that those who have not yet made up their minds will decide in favor of a vaccination,” says a press release.

The situation in the district clinic remains very tense. 31 patients with Covid 19 disease are currently being treated there, seven of them are in the intensive care unit and are ventilated.

136 new infections were reported in the district on Monday, a total of 1766 people are currently tested positive for the corona virus. The value for the seven-day incidence was 655.8 on Monday, according to the dashboard of the Robert Koch Institute.
