District of Dachau: ÖDP puts Adrian Heim on for state elections – Dachau

At its constituency meeting on Tuesday, the ÖDP district association Dachau decided who should run for the Ecological Democratic Party for mandates in the state and district elections: Adrian Heim is a candidate for the state elections, Lydia Bartmann is a candidate for the district elections. Ten delegates voted in the election at Gasthof Groß in Bergkirchen.

“I would be happy if we could get closer to the five percent hurdle,” says Adrian Heim about his election goal. In the 2018 state elections, he had won 1.7 percent of the votes for the ÖDP. For the coming state elections in Bavaria in autumn 2023, he does not want to anticipate his party when naming campaign content, but personally there are three issues that concern him personally. The 10-H rule must finally be dropped in order to speed up the expansion of wind power. “It’s all going much too slowly,” says Heim.

Secondly, he calls for a speed limit of 130 kilometers per hour on motorways and wants to initiate a traffic turnaround. As a third concern, Heim formulated the independence of the party from company and corporate donations. Unlike the Greens or other groups, for example, the ÖDP does not accept donations from corporations, companies and organizations in order to keep their influence on politics as low as possible, according to Haim.
