A cyclist was kicked and injured by a horse in the Upper Franconian district of Coburg. The 31-year-old was in Neustadt with a group of cyclists when she met a rider with two horses, the police reported on Friday. The 50-year-old rider led her animals to the left side of the road to let the cyclists pass.
But when the last cyclist drove past her, one of the horses suddenly turned and kicked his hind leg. It hit the 31-year-old on the lower leg and brought her down. The woman suffered minor injuries in Thursday’s incident and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The bike was undamaged and the horse was not injured in the incident either.
