Dispute after report on Ahmad Mansour – media

The magazine “Hyphen” is ready to remove claims from a text that questioned the biography of Islamism expert Ahmad Mansour – but initially only on one condition.

The online magazine hyphae after the publication of an article about the integration and Islamism expert Ahmad Mansour, who lives in Germany, offered to stop publishing various factual claims from the text. The British magazine has thus agreed to an injunction request from Mansour. However, the willingness to submit a cease-and-desist declaration was initially linked to a special condition: only if Mansour does not talk about the fact that the magazine retracts five factual allegations are they willing to agree to Mansour’s cease-and-desist request. This was confirmed by Ahmad Mansour, his lawyer Aron Heidtke from the Berlin law firm Raue and hyphae Hamburg lawyer Ralph Oliver Graef of the SZ. Mansour said he turned down the offer.
