All good things come to an end ! Netflix will put online on September 3 the first part of the final season of the Spanish phenomenon series La Casa de Papel, followed by the denouement a few months later with a second part uploaded on December 3. After having released the explosive trailer for this fifth season, the Los Gatos platform unveils three new characters this Thursday.
Rafael, the son of Berlin
In the first part of Season 5, audiences will meet Berlin’s son Rafael, played by Patrick Criado (Riot Police). Rafael is 31, studied computer engineering at MIT in Massachusetts, and he has just one thing in mind, not to look like his father.
René, the lover of Tokyo
This final season will also be the opportunity to discover René (Miguel Ángel Silvestre, seen in Sky Rojo and Sense8), the man Tokyo started robbing heists with and also loved.
Sagasta, Special Forces Commander
This season of La Casa de Papel also introduces Sagasta (José Manuel Seda, seen in Perdóname, Señor), commander of the special forces of the Spanish army, seasoned in countless international missions against the worst of mankind. A born leader, he is cold and ruthless, able to go beyond any ethical or moral convention if the mission requires it.
