The story began in Frankfurt am Main, on a June evening. The exSpexEditor-in-chief and FAZ feature writer Dietmar Dath was in the audience at a Miley Cyrus concert, rather accidentally. He actually came for the preliminary act and, “for the sake of fairness,” he only wanted to briefly listen to the main act, Miley Cyrus. Less than twelve minutes later, the then 21-year-old pop singer “dem Heini” had blown all his prejudices “out of his stupid head.” Dath is enthusiastic, he becomes a self-confessed “Cyrulogist”, and this story could be exciting, touching, enlightening if it hadn’t already ended. Because “MC”, as Dath abbreviates it in the book, can drive the feature writer Dath’s prejudices out of his head, but not his desire to make himself comfortable in meandering intellectualism.
