GQ’s “Woman of the Year” sparkles in Berlin

Diane Kruger accepted GQ magazine’s Woman of the Year award Thursday in a sparkly sequined suit.
Diane Kruger (46) made sure that nobody could overlook her at the “Men of The Year Awards” ceremony of the German edition of “GQ” on Thursday in Berlin. Although the actress appeared dressed head-to-toe in black, she was anything but inconspicuous.
The German Hollywood star’s outfit consisted of a two-piece suit that was extreme in many respects: the flared trousers would have been conspicuous even in the seventies, the top was reminiscent of a blazer, but showed skin on the stomach and sleeves. The oversized pointed collar was also an eye-catcher. In addition, the entire outfit shone and sparkled in the light because it consisted of black sequins.
The rest of the styling kept it low key: Kruger wore her hair severely back, subtle make-up, diamond earrings, natural nails and pointy black pumps.
Hollywood star Eddie Redmayne was also in Berlin
Kruger was named “Woman of the Year” at the event. Next to her, Hollywood actor Eddie Redmayne (40) accepted the award for “Actor of the Year”. “Sportsman of the Year” was the Austrian soccer professional David Alaba (30), who currently plays for Real Madrid. British-Jamaican fashion designer Martine Rose (42) can now call herself “Designer of the Year”. In addition, the “Human Rights Activist of the Year” was awarded for the first time in 2022 – to human rights activist Düzen Tekkal (44).
