Tottenham chief Daniel Levy ignores Bayern’s Harry Kane deadline to ‘jet off on holiday’ | Football | Sport

While Kane’s future continues to roll on, Tottenham are still working on new incomings themselves. An agreement has been reached with Wolfsburg for the signing of Micky van de Ven, who is set to arrive in London this weekend.

It’s suggested the centre-back could be in Tottenham’s stadium for their friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday. Whether Kane is in the squad for Sunday’s match remains to be seen, but England icon Gary Lineker wants to see his compatriot make the move to Bayern.

“The game is about winning team honours rather than individual records and that is what Harry needs,” he said. “I don’t see Spurs finishing even close to the top four next season.”
