Warum hassen Menschen Namen mit Bindestrich?
Als mein Mann und ich heirateten, beschlossen wir, dass wir einen gemeinsamen Nachnamen haben sollten, und dass der Name mit einem Bindestrich versehen werden sollte. Er wollte kein Zeichen seines chinesischen Erbes verlieren, und ich wollte keins kooptieren – oder meinen Namen aufgeben, wenn er seinen nicht aufgab.
