Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce had admitted he was wrong about tennis star Novak Djokovic following a court victory – suggesting he may not be deported.
The Nationals leader conceded he had made the wrong call for the Serbian athlete to be kicked out of Australia because of his unvaccinated status.
His admission means Immigration Minister Alex Hawke may be less inclined to cancel Djokovic’s visa and have him deported.
