Moscow last night warned it could target British diplomats returning to Kyiv after a defence minister’s ‘provocative’ talk of bombing Russia.

Russia’s defence ministry issued the threat after Armed Forces Minister James Heappey said that the UK backed Ukrainian air strikes on Russian infrastructure.

He added that it would be ‘completely legitimate’ for British weapons to be used in such attacks, even though none are currently thought to be.

Incredible moment single Ukrainian tank takes on entire Russian convoy near Kyiv

Incredible video footage has emerged showing the moment a lone Ukrainian tank single-handedly destroyed several Russian armoured vehicles less than 50 miles from Kyiv.

The footage, collected by a drone and published by a Ukrainian volunteer unit on Telegram, shows what appears to be a single well-positioned Ukrainian T-64 tank ambushing a convoy of Russian BTR-82A armoured vehicles on a road in Nova Basan, west of the capital.

Volodymyr Zelensky has urged Russian warmonger Vladimir Putin to end his illegal invasion and negotiate directly with Ukraine’s comic-turned-wartime president, warning that otherwise Russia will take ‘several generations to recover’.
