Sister Wives star Meri Brown follows ‘narcissistic ABUSE healing coach’ who helps people ‘heal from toxic relationships’ on TikTok in the wake of split from polygamous husband Kody

Sister Wives star Meri Brown appears to be seeking advice from a ‘narcissistic abuse healing coach’ on TikTok in the wake of her split from polygamous husband Kody Brown.

According to the 52-year-old reality star’s following list on the video-sharing app, she is subscribed to just 79 accounts – one of which belongs to Alex Scot, a self-described trauma healing coach who helps people to leave ‘toxic relationships’.

Alex has over 420,000 followers and 3.1 million likes on her videos, which are aimed at helping people to heal from trauma that they suffered at the hands of a narcissistic abuser.

She has uploaded videos on topics like how to identify if you’re a survivor of narcissistic abuse, how narcissists behave and how to move forward after leaving a narcissistic ex.

The abuse coach regularly posts empowering videos and messages on her social media accounts, including a recent tweet in which she reminded her followers that surviving abuse and trauma is a sign of their ‘strength’.

‘Say it with me: “The narcissistic trauma I have survived is a testament to my strength & ability to love fiercely. Not a sign of weakness,”‘ the tweet read.

The certified trauma informed coach also offers romance rehab where she offers live coaching through weekly sessions.

‘Receive lifetime access to Romance Rehab starting August 2023 so you can start healing from narcissistic relationships and align yourself for healthy relationships,’ she wrote of the program on her site.

While it’s unknown if Meri is a part of her program, she at the very least receives tips on healing from narcissistic abuse directly to her feed after her recent split from Kody, 54.

This isn’t the first time Meri has gotten relationship advice from experts.

The reality TV star recently shared a quote from motivational speaker Mel Robbins on her own TikTok.

The clip began with her reiterating Mel’s quote, stating, ‘There will always be someone who can’t see your worth. Don’t let it be you.’

‘I think so many times we let the voices of everybody else but ourselves get in our head and influence what we think and how we feel,’ Meri told her followers.

‘I think it’s really easy to let social media comments or just other people’s opinions affect your mood [and] affect your productivity.’

‘There is way too much judgment from others,” Meri concluded in the clip. ‘We don’t need it from ourselves. Worthy up friends. We got this.’

Meri and Kody tied the knot in 1990 when he was just 21 years old and she was 19.

They share 28-year-old one child, who now goes by the name Leon and uses they/them pronouns.

Eventually, Meri became one of four of Kody’s wives.

The two had been together for 32 years before announcing their split in December 2022.

‘In light of a recent unapproved press release, we feel compelled to share our own truth, in our own way and in our own timing,’ they said in a statement shared just days after the news of their separation was made public.

‘After more than a decade of working on our relationship in our own unique ways, we have made the decision to permanently terminate our marriage relationship.’

Their divorce didn’t come as a huge surprise to Sister Wives viewers considering the writing was on the wall for some time.

During a November 2022 episode of the show, Kody revealed that he doesn’t ‘consider myself married to Meri.’

Even though the two legally divorced in 2014 so he could marry his fourth wife, Robyn, they still acted as husband and wife – or so Meri thought.

‘I want to work on the relationship, but Kody has basically said that he doesn’t. Does that mean we’re just not married anymore?’ she wondered during the episode. ‘That’s not how I consider it.;

Kody, meanwhile, confessed to the cameras, ‘I don’t really consider myself married to Meri.’

‘If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn’t get an argument with me,’ he said about his first wife.

In another segment during the episode, he admitted: ‘Meri’s relationship with the family is a strained one. There’s a whole history of struggle. From the very beginning.’

In fact, some fans wondered why she didn’t end the relationship sooner

‘I have plenty of questions on my own surrounding the whole topic about when and how and why,’ she said in an Instagram post in June.

‘Right now, I am my very best self and I know that my timing was perfect,’ she continued.

She added: ‘That’s all that matters. So what I’m saying is, if you’re kind of stuck right now and you’re trying to figure out why things are happening, the way that they’re are happening — just hold on because even if you can’t see it right now, when you look back on it. It’s all gonna make sense.’

The reality TV star admits that she’s ‘still learning’ to trust herself but is working on prioritizing herself since he split.

‘Something I’m still learning, and that is to trust myself. So often I can rationalize or justify “reality” even though my gut says something else,’ she said in a video clip posted on June 29.

‘So often I can let other people’s opinions or behaviors influence what I know for myself, and that takes my power away from ME and puts it into the hands of someone else.’

Calling herself her ‘best judge,’ she added, ‘Because only YOU know what you need, want, deserve. TRUST yourself through your process!’
