Nearly one week after Page Six reported on Shannon Beador’s “screaming” match with her ex John Janssen’s daughter, she is shedding some light on the situation.
“Unfortunately, I don’t have a positive relationship with John’s daughter as happens often in blended families,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star told “Watch What Happens Live” viewers Wednesday.
“We had an argument,” the Bravolebrity, 59, confirmed. “There was an argument.”
When Andy Cohen asked why she was spending time with her ex’s child in the first place, Beador clarified that she and Janssen, 78, still hang out after their November 2022 breakup.
“John and I were out,” she explained. “We spend time together. One day at a time. We have fun when we do things together.”
While the reality star did ‘fess up to “screaming” at Janssen’s daughter, she denied being “removed” from the bar where the incident took place.
Can’t get enough ‘Real Housewives?’
“The lights were up [and] they were saying, ‘Everybody wrap it up,’” Beador claimed. “I wasn’t kicked out, but I asked security to help me with my Uber. That was it. … I absolutely was not kicked out.”
Social media users took to Twitter to air their doubts over her recounting.
“I call BS on her explanation!!” one fan tweeted, while another asked for the “details of the argument.”
Janssen gave a similar breakdown last week, telling Page Six that the altercation at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, Calif., earlier this month ended when “everyone was being asked to leave.”
The insurance broker alleged, “Yes, there was an argument, but it was at the end of the night, the lights were up.”
Another source told us at the time that the bouncers were helping Beador locate an Uber since she wasn’t wearing her glasses.
She and Janssen began dating in 2019, calling it quits nearly four years later. Beador didn’t share their split news until January.
“We didn’t speak for six months, but we’re friendly right now, and I’d like to keep it that way,” she told Page Six in June. “We’ll see how it goes. He’s very supportive.”
