‘RHONY’ newbie Brynn Whitfield confirms she’s DMing Shep Rose

Another Bravo romance may be on the horizon.

“Real Housewives of New York City” newbie Brynn Whitfield confirmed she and “Southern Charm” star Shep Rose have started schmoozing via Instagram.

Andy Cohen asked Whitfield on “Watch What Happens Live” Sunday whether she had heard from Rose since calling him “cute” during a previous appearance on the late-night show, to which she coyly replied, “No comment.”

However, after Cohen revealed Rose told him he planned to direct message Whitfield, she confirmed with a laugh, “He did.”

“He’s very sweet. He’s very smart. Very sweet, yeah,” she continued. “And it’s all PG. It’s, like, about philosophy and dogs — our favorite subjects.”

Cohen, 55, then teased that Whitfield, 36, and Rose, 43, will have to wait and see if they hit it off in person at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas in November.

Whitfield first fangirled over Rose when she appeared on “WWHL” on July 16.

“I have a little secret: I think Shep’s cute,” she spilled at the time.

Cohen initially seemed a little hesitant about a possible romance between the two reality stars, to which Whitfield joked, “It takes one commitment-phobe to know another commitment-phobe.”

“What’s he like in real life?” Whitfield asked Cohen, who responded that Rose “is exactly as he appears” on TV.

The new Bravolebrity seemed content with the answer, as she held out two peace signs and exclaimed, “Perfect!”

However, Cohen still appeared a little confused as to why Whitfield would “want to invest more” in Rose “based on what you’ve seen” on “Southern Charm,” which has featured his alcohol-fueled antics, messy relationships and even a pregnancy scare.

“Yes, I like ‘Southern Charm.’ I’m from Indiana, so Midwest and down south, we play it dirty,” she concluded.

It didn’t take long for Rose to see Whitfield’s confession since he commented under the @bravowwhl Instagram account about her “nice” response on July 17.

“Oh Well that’s certainly nice to hear. Thanks for thinking of me Brynn. I mean Andy could have been a little more enthusiastic about her brave (and accurate) proclamation. 🤷🏼‍♂️ perhaps he knows too much. This poses a problem 😟😂,” he wrote.

Rose has been single ever since he and Taylor Ann Green split in July 2022 after two years together. However, it appears they may have rekindled their romance while filming Season 9 of “Southern Charm” earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Whitfield is also on the market and confirmed that Rose has been the only male Bravolebrity to DM her since she began starring on Season 14 of “RHONY.”

“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

“Southern Charm” returns Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
