Manchester United will unveil Rasmus Hojlund to the Old Trafford crowd on Saturday before they face Lens in their penultimate pre-season game. The £72million striker is set to receive the Raphael Varane and Casemiro treatment after completing his switch from Atalanta this week.
Hojlund is Erik ten Hag’s third recruit of the summer transfer window, with the new season just a week away.
He follows Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount and Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana in landing in M16 for a combined £179m.
Ten Hag reportedly wants another addition before the deadline, with Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat on his radar.
However, United are said to face unwelcome competition for the 26-year-old midfielder.
