Man Utd back-up transfer plan at risk of falling apart as Erik ten Hag’s shortlist shrinks | Football | Sport

For United, the Ghanian star would be more of an attacking option but they’ll have to move quickly if they’re to snap him up. Hojlund remains the priority for now, but United will need to find out an answer soon on whether a deal can be struck for the Dane.

If a move is proving too much then United will have to switch their attentions elsewhere, but leaving it so late in the window means United will likely have to look further down their alternative shortlist.

Time is running out for Ten Hag’s side with the Premier League season now fast approaching. And the United boss will no doubt be growing concerned each day that goes by that a forward isn’t signed.
