Liverpool to receive transfer answer tonight as Andre and Romeo Lavia sagas roll on | Football | Sport

Victory for Fluminense would create some difficulty for Liverpool to pull off a move this summer as they would then progress to the quarter-finals. The second leg of the Copa Libertadores quarter-finals are scheduled to be played on the very last day of August, just hours before the Premier League transfer window closes.

Jurgen Klopp won’t want a last-minute transfer saga like last season, which ultimately saw them sign Arthur on loan from Juventus. But if Fluminense lose to Argentinos Juniors then that opens the door for Liverpool to possibly persuade the Brazilian side into selling.

Reports have suggested that Fluminense would accept a deal in the region of £20million for the midfielder.
