He said: “It’s clear, we looked fresh and really good, in the next six days we have to find a formation for Chelsea and not for the whole season. Nobody got injured, everyone got through okay.
“There is some football stuff we have to do and sort, but that’s normal. Pre-season always goes until the first international break, we have to use these weeks without international football.”
On Mac Allister, he said: “He’s a top-class player with and without the ball. We had our moments where we were too open, we will work on it, we will test some things.
“In a compact formation, Alexis can play there, if it’s open should he play there? No. But he showed he is a brilliant footballer and did really well.”
