Kylie Jenner was left ‘crying in the shower’ after naming her son Wolf | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Kylie Jenner candidly opened up about how she named her second child with Travis Scott after revealing she was changing his name from Wolf to Aire.

Speaking to her friend Anastasia Karanikolaou in a recent episode on season three of her family’s reality show, the tearful 25-year-old claimed the “hormones took me out”.

She explained: “I was just too emotional. He’s so special to me. There’s not a name good enough for him.”

Later, in a confessional, the Kylie Cosmetics founder added that the post-partum hormones had more of an impact than she thought they would and she called him Wolf at the last minute so she and Travis would have something to put on his birth certificate.

However, the socialite revealed she has never called her son Wolf.

She recalled the moment she got home after the birth certificate was filled, getting teary-eyed at the memory: “That night I cried in the shower.

“I was like; ‘That’s not his name! What did I just do?! Wolf?! I just named my son Wolf.’ It wasn’t even on the list.”

Months after welcoming her baby boy, Kylie made a plea to her fans on Instagram, revealing for the first time that Wolf would likely not be the newborn’s name forever.

She explained on Instagram that his name “isn’t Wolf anymore”, although didn’t reveal what his name really was, adding: “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

Kylie and Travis were still undecided on a name when the socialite went into labour and initially thought the name was “going to just come to us when we saw him”.

Unfortunately, that was not the case and the parents felt the pressure as they were given just 24 hours to choose a name to put on their son’s birth certificate.

Explaining on the Late Late Show with James Corden last year, Kylie revealed if they hadn’t given him a name he would be “registered without a name and he doesn’t get a social security number.”

She explained that Wolf had been Khloe Kardashian’s suggestion as Kylie and Travis were undecided on a name even after she had given birth.

Last month, Kylie legally changed her son’s name to Aire, a Hebrew name meaning Lion of God, explaining that she had wanted a name with meaning behind it.
