Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Mel C took to Instagram to share gushing tributes to Geri Halliwell as their former bandmate turned 51 on Sunday.
Baby Spice Emma, 47, shared a slew of throwback snaps from their time together in the iconic girl band and declared them ‘soul sisters’.
Meanwhile Sporty Spice Mel C, 49, posted her own tribute where she lovingly referred to Geri as ‘Ginge’.
Emma’s montage was set to the band’s 1996 hit Say You’ll Be There and documented their friendship with fun BTS clips as well as a photo from Geri’s 2015 wedding to Christian Horner.
She captioned the post: ‘Love you to bits. Happy Birthday my soul sister @gerihalliwellhorner. Hope you’re being spoilt and sending lots of hugs’.

Mel C shared her own throwback images with one showing Geri playfully pretending to strangle her as they posed for the camera.
Another image showed them together at the Women’s Euros Final in Wembley back in August 2022.
She penned: ‘Happy Birthday @gerihalliwellhorner!’
‘Wow these birthdays come round fast! We’ve made so many wonderful memories together, I’m hoping we can make more before too long. Have a fantastic day, love you to bits Ginge’.
The Spice Girls burst onto the music scene with fellow members Mel B and Victoria Beckham in 1996.
They have sold 105 million records worldwide making them the best-selling girl group of all time.
It comes after Victoria said she would not be reuniting with the band at Glastonbury next year following recent speculation.
It was claimed all five members of the group were set to reunite for a headline slot at the Worthy Farm festival in 2024 to mark the group’s 30th anniversary.

But a source close to Posh Spice insisted she would prefer to focus on her fashion label.
However, Victoria has not ruled out a separate ‘celebratory appearance’ with bandmates Geri Horner, Mel B, Melanie C and Emma Bunton, although she is not necessarily going to sing.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: ‘Glastonbury is possibly the coolest gig on the planet but Victoria won’t be doing it next year.
‘She has carved herself a career as a fashion designer that she has put blood, sweat and tears into, so singing is something she has to carefully consider.
‘She has sadly been hugely ridiculed when she has sung in the past.
‘She is a different person now. She looks back fondly on her years in the Spice Girls – they were very special for her – so she hasn’t ruled out a celebration, maybe, at some point.

‘And Glastonbury are not at all keen on having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same pull.’
Victoria is due to take part in a documentary made by Star Wars director J.J. Abrams that will tell the story of the group’s rise to fame in the 1990s and will feature interviews and unseen material from their personal archives.
The star did not join the Spice Girls on their UK tour in 2019 and confessed that her choice not to take part required a lot of ‘courage’.
Victoria told Vogue: ‘It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: “You know, I’m not doing it because things feel different now than they used to.”‘
