Despite the reported talks with Leeds over a move for Adams, it’s said that Chelsea haven’t given up hope of signing Caicedo as well. Pochettino has been repeatedly asked about Chelsea’s pursuit of midfielders this summer and recently confirmed that talks are ongoing behind the scenes to get something done.
“At the moment, we are working to reinforce that area, and other areas also,” Pochettino said. “I think the players that are here on the tour are in our plans, Chelsea plans.
“At the moment, nothing to say about the players we have here. We are working very hard to try to add more players in different areas and hope that is possible soon.”
