Adele POLE DANCES at London club in front of shocked partygoers

Drunk Adele was left sobbing after overindulging in drinks at a gay bar on Thursday night, where she stripped down to her bra, pole-danced on stage in front of topless dancers, fell over and addressed the BRIT Award controversy.

The I Drink Wine singer, 33, was watching G-A-Y’s Porn Idol event at Heaven in London from a VIP box after turning up at the back door of the club just after midnight to party with a large group of friends, to the surprise of management.

The worse for wear singer, who said she had given up drinking in October 2021, was seen in tears as fans cheered for her, leaning down from her VIP area to ask a group of revellers on the dancefloor ‘How does everyone know it’s me?’

That’ll be one Adele of a hangover! Drunk Adele was left sobbing after overindulging in drinks at a gay bar, where she stripped down to her bra, pole-danced on stage, fell over while dancing and addressed the BRIT Award controversy

Hours earlier, the star had put on a very civilised performance in a pre-recording for The Graham Norton Show, where she revealed that she wants to have a baby with her boyfriend Rich Paul and continued to fuel rumours that the couple are engaged.

During her boozy night out the superstar decided to get involved with the action, dashing down from her VIP box to storm the stage where she performed a pole dance as topless dancers looked on in shock.

Adele, who is back home in London following her triple win at Tuesday’s BRIT Awards, was filmed by clubgoers as she danced in a £3280 Fendi suit with her pals and sang along to It’s Raining Men.

Once on stage the star told the cheering audience that her designer shirt had ripped and joked: ‘I’ve been wetting myself’.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole was hosting the event and shared snaps with Adele on Instagram in the early hours of Friday.

A video shared by a fan shows Adele asking to have ‘the final say so’ in the stripping contest as Cheryl tells her ‘you can have the final say, you’re f**king adele and I’m little old Cheryl.’

The drunk singer is then seen asking Cheryl to hold together her shirt as she says ‘I’ve been wetting myself, my shirt ripped apart.’

Adele eventually picks a winner after stumbling around the stage, addressing the BRIT Awards controversy from two days previously as she told the shocked topless competitor: ‘I’m going to go with my girl! I know I’ve had a lot of s**t the last couple of days.’

‘You were great but… we love females, f**king females don’t we. Yes I pick her, I can see you’re f**king beautiful, f**king lovely, f**king confident with all these men around. We love being f**king females don’t we.

‘F**king love being females’. Cheryl asks Adele if she can sing a song on her next TV special, after the star previously invited her best pal Alan Carr on stage with her.

‘Yes 100% Congratulations my lovely, you are lovely I can see it in your eyes. You are lovely. Females all round baby!’

It was just five months ago that Adele revealed she had given up alcohol in a bid to protect her powerful voice. During an October Instagram Live the star said she’d had to give up her favourite tipple, an Aperol spritz, because she was ‘gearing up’ for her return to music.

The star also told US Vogue last year that she suffered from ‘hanxiety’ after drinking more than usual during lockdown.

‘I’m always a bit hungover on Monday morning. It got earlier and earlier, the drinking,’ she said, ‘I was falling out the back door of the bar rather than falling out of the front. Then I remember I woke up with the worst hangover.

‘Hangxiety, I call it. ‘Who did I talk to? What did I do? It was a month of me going crazy.’

It’s Adele! The star’s club night was unplanned with G-A-Y owner Jeremy Joseph telling MailOnline that he was only told about the star’s visit when she turned up at the back exit with her friends

The global superstar, 33, arrived round the back of G-A-Y on Thursday at 12:30am, half an hour before the start of Porn Idol, which was set up originally as a parody of Pop Idol, but instead of singing, party goers strip.

Jeremy Joseph, who is the owner of G-A-Y and Heaven, told MailOnline he was in disbelief when Adele arrived at the venue, hung out with the night’s performing drag queens, and even came on stage to judge the competition – before pole dancing herself.

He said: ‘Someone turned up at the front door and said, “Adele is coming, her car is pulling up around the back, is that okay?”

‘I was backstage getting the show ready, and our manager just looked and said “yeah, whatever” and obviously they went round the back and there she was.

‘She arrived about 12:30am and the show started at 1am and it went on until 2:15am in the end, she stayed until just a bit after the show and then she went.

‘When I got the message saying she was coming I told the queens “you need to get ready now” and they’re like “why?” and I said, “Adele is going to be here, and you need to look your best” and they looked at me like I was a stupid!’

Jeremy described partying with the A-list singer, who this week won three BRIT Awards, as ‘surreal’ but said she had ‘no requests or demands’ – and just wanted to have fun after a dramatic few weeks.

Talking about Martha, the topless Porn Idol contestant who Adele chose as her winner, Joseph said: ‘We picked two people from the audience.’

‘Imagine coming up from the audience and the next thing you know you are naked on stage with Adele – how many people plan that night out?’

Joseph shared an image of Adele from Thursday night on his Instagram.

Writing on Friday morning, he said: ‘Hello, it’s me. I was wondering after all these years you’d like to meet backstage at G-A-Y.’

The image, taken backstage at the London club, showed Adele with her eyes closed snuggling up to Jeremy’s dog, Jacob.

Drag queen Cheryl, who last night was eliminated from BBC Three show Drag Race UK Versus the World, was also in the snap alongside Jeremy and queens Son Of A Tutu, and Alfie Ordinary.

Alfie captioned the picture: ‘Two British icons. Our lord saviour @adele came to @heaven.nightclub tonight and what an honour.’

Along with her Fendi suit, Adele was once again wearing a dazzling diamond ring on her engagement finger.

She first set tongues wagging at the BRITs when she arrived wearing the sparkler on her wedding finger, sparking speculation she is engaged to beau Rich Paul.

Adele made her opinions known at the ‘woke’ BRIT Awards ceremony earlier this week, as she hit back and insisted she ‘loves being a female artist’, after bosses bowed to calls to rid the awards of gendered categories.

Adele beat hotly tipped contender Ed Sheeran in the Artist Of The Year category – which now includes all artists regardless of gender – after they both released long-awaited albums around the same time last year.

During her acceptance speech, Adele told the audience: ‘I understand why the name of this award has changed, but I really love being a woman and being a female artist, as she referenced the changes the awards board had made to the ceremony.

The BRIT Awards sparked controversy last year when they announced they would be ditching the traditional male and female categories and switching to gender-neutral gongs for the first time in its history, causing naysayers to brand the event ‘woke’.

G-A-Y owner reveals his shock when Adele turned up unnannounced at his striptease clubnight

Adele shocked club owner Jeremy Joseph by turning up at London’s G-A-Y unannounced for the venue’s weekly stripping event.

The clubowner said: ‘She was so normal and so lovely and just came backstage and hung out and went into the box to watch the show.

‘It wasn’t advertised; it wasn’t planned, which makes it more special. She just turned up. There were no requests, no demands, there was nothing like that.

‘I’ve had friends message me saying ‘why didn’t you tell me?’ and it’s because I just didn’t know. No one believes me but I didn’t know!

‘There were people crying their eyes out saying, ‘oh my God I’ve just seen Adele!’

‘She had friends with her, it was a big group, and it was like let’s go and have some fun. She didn’t want to go out and be pretentious; she just wanted to have fun. It is really surreal.’

Jeremy said: ‘We didn’t try to get her on stage or anything like that because they are there for a night out – I had no idea she was going to walk on stage. There was an argument about who should win the competition, and someone decided Adele was going to come and pick.

‘I said ‘judges, you’re being overruled’ – literally, all you could see in the audience was a sea of phones.

‘The pole dancing… it was one of those moments completely unplanned, the first thing she did when she walked on stage, and she ignored the audience, and just started stroking my dog Jacob.

‘The pole is there for the contestants to use and she just started copying one of them.’

Organisers divided opinion and some were left outraged by the decision, which came after calls led by non-binary singer Sam Smith.

Bosses claimed the move was in a bid ‘to be as inclusive and as relevant as possible’ and allowed people to enter who do not identify as a man or woman.

But fans at the time blasted the change as ‘woke drivel’, with many calling for a boycott.

During her speech for her third award, for Best Album, Adele became emotional as she dedicated the gong to Angelo and Simon.

She said: ‘Thank you, again the company I’m in really is phenomenal. Thanks to everyone I work with. But I want to dedicate this to my son. And his dad. Because it’s about them. I’m really proud of myself for sticking to my guns and putting out something so personal. It’s not something people do anymore.’

‘My son has been so gracious and patient with me over recent years. So it’s for him.’

Also thanking her producer she said: ‘Someone who was integral to this album is producer of the year Inflo. He also works with Little Simz. He helped me so much.’

Adele reveals she’s planning a baby with Rich Paul, hints she IS engaged. calls ex Simon Konecki her ‘soulmate’ and reveals regret over what would have been ‘half-a**ed Vegas shows’

Hours before her wild night out Adele recorded her episode of The Graham Norton Show, set to air on Friday, where she will be seen speaking out on the controversey surrounding her cancelled Las Vegas shows as well as her plans for more children.

Appearing on this week’s episode of the BBC One series Adele addresses her cancelled Vegas dates for the first time, admitting her ‘regret’ at the last minute announcement as she insists it would have been a ‘half-a**ed show.’

She also promises the shows will happen in 2022 as she plans to have a baby next year with her sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul.

Flashing the diamond ring, which sparked engagement rumours with Rich when she wore it at this week’s BRIT Awards, Adele remained coy when Graham asked if it meant she is engaged, saying, ‘If I was would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?’

Adele mentioned her boyfriend again when Graham asked the singer what happened in Las Vegas. Last month the star  tearfully told fans she could not go ahead with the residency less than a day before her scheduled debut show at Caesars Palace.

‘I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time,’ Adele explains. ‘I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-arsed show and I can’t do that.’

‘People will see straight through me up on the stage and know I didn’t want to be doing it. I’ve never done anything like that in my life and I’m not going to start now.’

‘We are now working our arses off, but I don’t want to announce a new set of dates until I know everything will definitely be ready. The sooner I can announce the better, but I just can’t in case we are not ready in time.’

‘It is absolutely 100% happening this year. It has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year.

Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby!’

Asked if she will vanish again after Vegas, and if so, for how long, she said, ‘I definitely will but I am trying to make a conscious effort to stop being so anal with my privacy.’

‘I’m trying not to be two completely different versions of myself. It is exhausting switching on and off. I will be disappearing in terms of my music, but you might see a glimpse of me now and then and I won’t be in complete hiding.’

She again hinted at family plans, saying: ‘It takes me a while to recharge, and I would like to have more children – I only just feel like I’ve caught up with my sleep from nine years ago when I had my son.’
