You no longer feel comfortable in Germany. That is why Ina and Dennis Aogo emigrated to Dubai with their two children. The couple want to start a new life there.

The Aogos have turned their backs on Germany. Ina and Dennis Aogo revealed to the “Bild” newspaper in October that they wanted to leave the country. One of the reasons is the safety of their two young children.

“Less than 100 meters from our house, someone was recently arrested who had masturbated on the playground in front of a little boy. The parents called the police. But the guy was released immediately afterwards,” said the ex-footballer. “You hear such stories here more and more. Also that children were stolen from playgrounds. For us it is also a big argument why we chose Dubai, that our children are safe in Dubai,” he said.

Her house will be completed in the coming year, but the two have already left their home country. On Tuesday Ina Aogo posted a picture of herself and her two children on Instagram and wrote: “The adventure begins! #Goodbyedeutschland.”

Dubai is a popular destination for influencers

In the past few years, Dubai has become a popular vacation and residential destination for many celebrities. Influencer Sarah Harrison and her husband have already moved to the desert metropolis. Ex-GNTM candidate Fiona Erdmann also lives there. But it’s not necessarily just the good weather that attracts many Germans to Dubai.

Rapper Farid Bang raged against all those who left Germany for Dubai last autumn. “The fact is: These people only do it to avoid the German taxes here and try to sell you that they are rich and whatever. It’s not like that, people. It’s not like that. These people are just moving there, to save taxes, “he said in a Tik Tok video.

On Instagram, Dennis Aogo denied that he was moving because of the tax benefits. In a question and answer session, he emphasized that he had already earned most of his money as a footballer and paid taxes in Germany.
