A member of the Indochina entourage assures L’Indépendant that he is still awaiting a response from the Déferlantes. “Indo” at Les Déferlantes, it’s still possible!
After having threatened to cancel its visit to Les Déferlantes after the announcement of the move, Indochine published on its Facebook, this Monday, January 9, a post to relaunch the promotion of its future dates, including that of Les Déferlantes.
Contacted by L’Indépendant, a member of the Indochina team replied: “We communicated that the Indochina date at the Eurockéennes was complete. The Déferlantes ticket office link is deactivated pending the return of the festival. We are awaiting a definitive response from Les Déferlantes on whether or not it is changing location.“.
For the record, Saturday January 7, Indochine had threatened not to perform at Les Déferlantes if the festival was finally organized in Perpignan. The group led by Nicola Sirkis then claimed to have been informed the very morning of the move to the city led by the mayor Rassemblement national Louis Aliot. Indochine asked “expressly“the organizers to change location. So refusing to play in a city in the hands of the RN.
