Didier Deschamps will have to review his list. The French defender of FC Barcelona Jules Koundé, called up by the coach for the French team’s matches against the Netherlands (October 13) and Scotland (October 17), was injured on Sunday during the match of Barça Liga in Granada.
Visibly injured in the left knee, Koundé remained on the ground after involuntary contact with his teammate Gavi but tried to continue, before giving way to Ronald Araujo before half-time (44th). The match ended in a draw: 2-2.
The former Bordeaux defender could therefore be forced to forfeit the next Blues rally, just like William Saliba, replaced on Sunday by former Barcelona player Jean-Clair Todibo.
