A “sensitive” personality in the country, Evgueni Prigojine enjoyed certain privileges for his flights over Russia. His status changed a few days before his plane crashed.
Are the Russian authorities behind the death of Yevgeny Prigojine? Very officially, several Western countries have put forward the hypothesis of revenge by the Russian state after the rebellion led by the paramilitary group Wagner led by the oligarch.
Information revealed by the Ukrainian media Channel 24 just throws a little more trouble when the conditions granted to Wagner for the flights of its leader had been modified.

Wagner’s boss could also ask to destroy the passenger list after each flight when he had several “Evgueni Prigojine” traveling at the same time on different flights.
Yet, Channel 24 assures that since “these last few weeks, everything has changed” and “Prigojine has been stripped of his VIP status”.
Rosaviatsia, the Russian federal transport agency, and a number of other services have thus “prohibited Prigozhin’s planes” from “modifying their route, and destroying information related to the passengers of its planes”, affirms Channel 24 which also reveals that Prigozhin’s last flight was delayed for 24 hours.
The leader of the Wagner militia was indeed to return to his city of Saint Petersburg on August 22. But a meeting with Vladimir Putin may have convinced Prigzhin to delay the flight for 24 hours. Information denied since by the Kremlin.
