A discovery made “during the last weekWednesday or Thursday” according to the prosecutor. DNA analyzes carried out on the sample confirmed this Monday that it is indeed the body of little Émile, disappeared on July 8, 2023 in this village of 25 inhabitants located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

The hamlet still closed to the public

This small piece of bone was found in the area in which the little boy’s skull and clothes had already been found about ten days ago. Around a hundred gendarmes remain mobilized on site to try to reconstruct the last moments of little Émile’s life. The hamlet is closed to the public until April 15.
