The Californian graphics card manufacturer Nvidia is still the clear market leader in the GPU area, which is currently having an effect on pricing in the desktop segment, for example. Many AMD fans therefore prefer to avoid the company’s products with the world-famous green logo, which shouldn’t even be particularly difficult thanks to a recent gaming notebook deal for the Lenovo Legion 5.
From the reliable German mail order company alternates the Lenovo Legion 5 configuration with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H octa-core processor and the AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card can currently be ordered for a reduced price of 1,006 euros including shipping. The gaming notebook is also equipped with a 512GB NVMe SSD and 16GB RAM, as well as a 165Hz fast Full HD IPS display with a peak brightness of up to 300 nits. In the price comparison of Idealo is the price of this model variant of the Lenovo Legion 5 otherwise about 1,200 euros and thus around 19 percent more than with this deal.
In our review, we took a closer look at a very similar AMD variant of the Lenovo Legion 5, and in one too detailed video review on our YouTube channel we took a closer look at the 15-inch gaming notebook. Among other things, we were impressed by the appealing price-performance ratio, the good gaming performance and the fairly color-accurate display. With the Lenovo Legion 5, you get a solid notebook at a reduced offer price for just under 1,000 euros. If you have a slightly smaller budget, you can alternatively benefit from a deal for an American competitor product with an Nvidia GPU.

The technology virus caught me at a young age, when I took my first steps in the PC field in the Pentium II era. Since then, modding, overclocking and the meticulous care of my hardware have simply been a part of it for me. During my studies, I also developed a special interest in mobile technologies, which can make the stressful everyday student life much easier. After I found my love for creating web content while working in marketing, I now set out as an editor at Notebookcheck in search of the most exciting topics from the fascinating world of technology. Outside of the office, I have a particular passion for motorsport and mountain biking.
