Darwin Nunez has become one of the most desirable strikers in Europe at Benfica. Three top clubs should have good cards for a transfer.

With Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea, there are currently three favorites to sign Benfica striker Darwin Nunez. That reports The Athletic.

Accordingly, Benfica is demanding a fee of at least 70 million euros for the 22-year-old, who is under contract in Lisbon until 2025. In addition, the Portuguese would like to wrap up a possible transfer as quickly as possible in order to have enough time to search for a successor.

Darwin Nunez: PSG, Chelsea or United?

With the three alleged top candidates, however, there are still some important question marks in terms of squad planning that would have to be clarified before a potential Nunez transfer. PSG will have to wait and see if Kylian Mbappe will leave the club or stay. At United it is not yet clear who will be the head coach next season. And after the departure of club owner Roman Abramovich, Chelsea first have to clarify who will take over the club and whether a transfer in the category of 70 million euros would then be possible at all.

Nunez switched from UD Almeria to Benfica in 2020 and is the absolute top star of the Portuguese. The Uruguay international has scored 31 goals in 36 competitive appearances this season.
