For 20 years, the trained social worker Dagmar Schönleber has been an unmistakable asset on poetry slam, comedy and cabaret stages. In her texts and songs she finds the way between entertainment and attitude, between purposeless humor and applicable philosophy of life, between comedy and cabaret. Humorous but serious, she also takes a stand against sexism of all kinds, since 2018, among other things, in the “Sisters of Comedy GbR” founded with Carmela de Feo and Patrizia Moresco. This is also reflected in the title of her new programme, with which she is now entering clubhouse comes: “The rock* in the surf”. Unflinching, she again stands her ground, praising the brave and educating the eternally wailing. In a show that couldn’t be announced better than she herself: “An evening between schnapps and bargains, with words, boom and western guitar.”
