It started with a conversation between two friends. Sports lovers, to be precise, Demirhan Aydin and Valerii Bruns are both Taekwondo coaches. Aydin coaches the TSV 1865 team in Dachau and Bruns coaches the Ukrainian national team in Kyiv. Aydin and Bruns, two burly men in their early fifties, one with dark eyes and balding hair, the other with light eyes and a bald head, get along well. When they meet at international competitions, they chat about the martial arts, their families, God and the world at the side of the mat.
