A new bridge over the Pollnbach is needed to open up the new day-care center at Pollnstraße 5. The bridge is also intended to provide access to the existing building on the property and to create a pedestrian and cycle path connection between Pollnstraße and Hackenängerstraße. From Monday, March 6th, until probably the end of July, Pollnstraße will be closed on one side at house number 5 for about 50 meters. According to the city, the construction work will do without a full closure. The half-way closure is controlled by traffic lights. For cyclists and pedestrians, continuity is largely maintained.
“Such an extensive construction project is inevitably associated with noise pollution and dust,” says the city. The companies involved would do their best to keep the loads during the construction period as low as possible.
