Dachau: ambulance crashes into car – six injured – Bavaria

An ambulance overturned in a collision with a car in Dachau – six people were injured, three of them seriously. A patient was not on board, the police said. The accident happened when a drunk 18-year-old driver drove through a red traffic light on Saturday night. “The collision (…) was so violent that the ambulance overturned on its left side,” it said.

The 39-year-old passenger in the ambulance and two of the three passengers in the car, aged 18, 19 and 22, were seriously injured. The 37-year-old ambulance driver, the driver and another passenger were slightly injured. The police took the driver’s license of the 18-year-old and took blood.
