Changpeng “CZ” Zhao said in an interview with Bloomberg TV that Binance US, the U.S. unit of Binance, will submit a new bid for Voyager assets.
FTX is currently unable to pursue the acquisition. Following Voyager’s bankruptcy, FTX became the leading acquisition of Voyager.
“Binance US will resubmit Voyager now as FTX is no longer able to fulfill that deal.”
“I think the national security concerns of the United States It was a rumor spread by FTX to try and push us out of the auction,” Zhao said. “But we never had any concerns about us participating in the auction.”
Binance was previously denied claiming to be a Chinese company. This is Zhao’s home country, although he grew up in Canada.
