Cycle path in Munich: Reiter accuses mobility officer of lack of commitment – Munich

Residents are apparently demanding more and more vehemently that the new cycle paths on Lindwurmstrasse should finally be built. But dealers and craftsmen have concerns. In the mayor’s opinion, there is only a slow response to this.

There is another crash in the town hall when it comes to implementing the traffic turnaround. Mayor Dieter Reiter (SPD) publicly accuses mobility officer Georg Dunkel of not doing his job adequately on the cycle path on Lindwurmstrasse. Reiter explained in writing that he had not imposed a planning stop for the redesign. If Dunkel, who was appointed to office by the Greens, has “done his homework”, the city council can pass the resolution “immediately” and the building department can start work.
