On the eve of the trial before the Bonn regional court, Christian Olearius said he caught something on his back, the sciatic nerve. Nevertheless, he stood up this Monday morning after the judge opened the session. He pulls the microphone towards him and starts talking. Maybe he has to sit down straight away, he adds, but at the start he wants to stand, to appear steadfast, so to speak.
