The cold days in Germany are over. But the sun isn’t showing up everywhere yet.

It’s getting warm again in Germany: it’s the weekend Maximum temperatures of up to 26 degrees are expected. The weather on Saturday and Sunday will be partly clear and sunny, but also very cloudy and with isolated showers and thunderstorms, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach.

From Saarland and the Palatinate through North Rhine-Westphalia and parts of Lower Saxony to Schleswig-Holstein, people still have to expect individual thunderstorms on Saturday. According to the DWD, further south and east it is generally clear and dry. The daily highs on Saturday will be up to 23 degrees.

According to the forecast, on Sunday it will be cloudy in the western half of Germany, partly very cloudy, and in places it will also rain. Short thunderstorms can be expected in the northwest and north. According to meteorologists, it will remain sunny and dry for longer in the eastern half with loose cloud fields. Up to 26 degrees are possible.

At the start of the new week, the DWD expects a mix of sun and clouds, and there will also be some rain in some areas. The maximum values ​​should again be up to 26 degrees.
