c’t webinar: Passkeys instead of passwords | heise online

Almost everywhere on the web you need your own account, which should be provided with a password that is as secure as possible. In the best case scenario, the account is additionally protected by a second factor. The last aspect in particular falls victim to convenience far too often in everyday life. Thanks to a new method, logins will be more convenient and, above all, more secure in the future. Ideally, you no longer need passwords at all. This minimizes the risk of losing online access to attackers as a result of phishing attacks.
