430,000 euros is a lot of money, even for a member of the Bavarian state parliament. Not much is missing in addition to the more than 500,000 euros that a representative earns in a five-year electoral term. Years ago, the CSU politician Ernst Weidenbusch received almost 430,000 euros from the Bayerische Landesbank (BayernLB), which is owned by the Free State. Not as a member of parliament, but as a lawyer. Weidenbusch, who represents the district of Munich-Land-Nord in the state parliament, also runs a prosperous law firm. However, he did not earn the legal fees that he received from the BayernLB state bank on the side.
