Criminal escaped from Pennsylvania prison found after thirteen days on the run

After nearly two weeks on the run, the “dangerous” criminal who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison has been found. The American state police announced the arrest of Danel Cavalcante on Wednesday on X.

This 34-year-old Brazilian, sentenced in mid-August to life in prison for the murder of his former girlfriend, was located on the night of Saturday to Sunday thanks to video surveillance images, near the small town of Phoenixville, in the northeastern United States. Or about a 45-minute drive from the Kennett Square botanical gardens, where he had been seen a few days earlier, the police and the region’s prosecutor’s office announced.

This brown man, 1.50 m tall and 54 kg, according to the wanted notice, is considered “extremely dangerous”, “someone who is desperate and who does not want to be caught”, the authorities warned.
