A convicted murderer escaped from two judicial officers accompanying him into a forest near Germersheim. There is still no trace of him.
About the serious criminal who escaped on Monday in Bruchsal There is still no trace of anyone who was imprisoned in the correctional facility (JVA). There were some tips from the public, but none of them led to his capture, said a police spokesman in Pforzheim.
According to the police, the man was also at large in the evening. The convicted murderer left the prison under the supervision of two officers on Monday afternoon and fled during this so-called execution in Germersheim (Rhineland-Palatinate).
The Rhine-Palatinate police headquarters searched for the 43-year-old, who initially disappeared in a forest, with a large contingent of police forces. A police helicopter and members of the service dog squad were also involved in the search. The prisoner’s ankle bracelet was found and confiscated on Monday in the city of Germersheim. The prisoner from Pforzheim was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Karlsruhe Regional Court on May 7, 2012, among other things, for murder.
