Mixed together in no time and baked in the oven in a flash, it provides quick chocolate enjoyment that is best enjoyed lukewarm with some vanilla ice cream.
Recipe for a quick tart au chocolat made from five ingredients
Ingredients for a 24cm diameter tart tin
- 200g melted butter
- 200 g dark chocolate, at least 70 percent cocoa content
- 4 eggs, size M
- 200g sugar
- 2 pinches of salt
- 2 tbsp wheat flour, type 405

preparation
- Melt the butter and chocolate carefully in a water bath. Mix in a pinch of salt.
- Separate eggs. Beat the egg white until stiff.
- Beat the egg yolks, sugar and another pinch of salt until creamy. Stir in the chocolate-butter mixture. Then add the flour and slowly mix everything into a smooth dough. Fold in the egg whites.
- Pour everything into the prepared form.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C top/bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
- Let the cake cool slightly.
- Serve lukewarm with vanilla ice cream.
