RKI registered 4559 new corona infections
The seven-day incidence has risen again. According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) on Monday morning, it was 75.8 – the previous day the value was 74.1, a week ago it was 56.4. The health authorities in Germany reported 4559 new corona infections to the RKI within one day. This is evident from the numbers that reflect the status of the RKI dashboard at 4:06 a.m. A week ago, the value for Germany was 3668 infections. According to the new information, ten deaths were recorded across Germany within 24 hours. There had been four deaths a week ago.

Foxconn founder asks BioNTech for more vaccines for Taiwan
Foxconn founder Terry Gou is again negotiating with BioNTech about additional vaccination units for Taiwan. Gou wrote on his official Facebook page that he had asked the German vaccine inventor to hold 30 million doses for Taiwan for the coming year. He has received “a very good answer so far”. BioNTech initially did not respond to a request from Reuters for comment. Foxconn and Taiwan Semiconductor had previously bought and donated 10 million units to the country. Taiwan’s government had previously tried unsuccessfully to obtain vaccine and blamed the Chinese government for the failure.

VBE warns against contamination in schools

3G plans on trains are about to end
According to a media report, the controversial plans to introduce 3G in Deutsche Bahn trains are about to end. This is reported by “Bild”. Accordingly, the result of the test procedure led by Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer (CSU) is that the measures are “not feasible”. The newspaper had previously reported that Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) wanted to enforce the so-called 3G rule on long-distance trains. Fully vaccinated over 173 million US citizens
