RKI registered 4559 new corona infections

Foxconn founder asks BioNTech for more vaccines for Taiwan

Foxconn founder Terry Gou is again negotiating with BioNTech about additional vaccination units for Taiwan. Gou wrote on his official Facebook page that he had asked the German vaccine inventor to hold 30 million doses for Taiwan for the coming year. He has received “a very good answer so far”. BioNTech initially did not respond to a request from Reuters for comment. Foxconn and Taiwan Semiconductor had previously bought and donated 10 million units to the country.
