For many it was a project of imponderables. It seemed irresponsible and unethical that the British government dropped virtually all corona protective measures from July 19. Since this date, baptized “Day of Freedom”, one looks spellbound at the infection numbers not only on the island. After all, more than 100 scientists had warned that up to 100,000 British people could become infected with Sars-CoV-2 every day as a result of the openings – with far-reaching consequences for the health system and society.
