Germany is currently in the transition phase “from a pandemic to an endemic event,” according to a paper from the Federal Ministry of Health that became known this week. And further: “The bridge out of the pandemic and back to normality has been trodden, but not yet completely crossed.” How long this bridge is now, the length of which is not measured in meters, but in months, maybe even in years, is not mentioned in the paper that the government calls the basis for discussion at the Prime Minister’s Conference next week.
