Corentin Tolisso will return to OL and sign a five-year contract

After Alexandre Lacazette, OL will record the return of another great former member of the club. Corentin Tolisso gave his agreement on Tuesday to Jean-Michel Aulas, the president of the Rhone club, to return to Lyon. As revealed by RMC Sport this Thursday, the French world champion must pass his medical examination in the morning. According to our information, he will commit to a five-year contract and should be presented to the press on Friday by the Lyon leaders.

The 27-year-old midfielder, free to go where he wanted since his contract with Bayern Munich expires on Thursday, had been openly courted by OL for several months. But Tolisso had always politely indicated, until a few days ago, that he favored a project allowing him to continue to play in the Champions League, in order to find the Blues for the World Cup in Qatar.

The international with 28 selections with the France team finally opted for a return to Lyon, from which he left in 2017 to join Bayern Munich, as part of a transfer estimated at 41.5 million euros. He made 117 appearances in all competitions for the Bavarian club, although his spell has been marred by repeated injuries over the past four seasons.
