Schumacher’s companion Jörg Kunze nevertheless tried to explain. “I’m totally shocked, I think it’s a shame for them,” he said to RTL after the show ended. “I can imagine that she somehow touched on Lucy’s story herself,” he also said. At the camp, Lucy Diakovska spoke about her difficult relationship with her own mother, who is now no longer alive. “Maybe there’s something else health-wise,” Kunze then speculated.
Her revelations about Pocher and Ralf Schumacher may also have made her think. “We know what she said. I think it’s in her head. She’s also a bit of a control freak,” said Schumacher’s companion. The fact that she can’t control what happens outside the jungle could bother her.
Germany is particularly talking about Schumacher’s alleged affair with the comedian. “Yes, Olli, the funny one, from Kölle. I’ve known Oliver Pocher for 20 years. He just asked if he could come over, and of course, I was happy to open the door for him because I like him.” , she said on the jungle telephone right at the beginning of her time at the camp.
On day two she then gave an insight into her marriage to Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher. She cried and talked about how difficult it was to have so little contact with their son David. She also revealed that she was very much in love with her ex-husband. “There are a thousand different reasons why you marry someone even though you haven’t found true love… I was always honest with him. The other way around I would say: no,” she sobbed.
