While two sisters were arguing one morning at the family home, infuriating the parents, the mother ended up, to “calm down” her 10-year-old daughter, by throwing her out, reports The Republican East. All without supervision, in pajamas (fleece) and shoes. The facts occurred last November in Gray (Haute-Saône) when the outside temperature was around 5 degrees… A correction or an attitude which led the mother and her partner to court. For an hour, the 10-year-old girl remained in the cold. The little girl, crying and pleading, ended up being taken in by a neighbor who alerted the authorities.
Despite the couple’s explanations, the children were ultimately placed under their father’s parental authority. The mother received a six-month parental responsibility period, the stepfather was fined 900 euros for the acts of violence, 400 euros for moral damage and 800 euros for legal costs.
